After my summer vacation, I weighed 94 kg. Realizes that I found this far too difficult and wanted to lose weight, even to be first in football.
Started working from then until the autumn holidays, resulting in weight loss of up to 89 kg.
After my vacation during the autumn holidays, I thought it was time to take the next step in terms of body but also in terms of getting fit. I weighed 90.4 kg at that time and wanted to lose weight and feel fitter, didn't really have a goal in terms of weight. From November 1, I decided not to drink alcohol for 6 weeks and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Together with Jelmer, we agreed to eat a maximum of 2200/2300 kcal. I play football 3 times a week, which is the most important thing for me. Decided to go to the gym myself on Monday evening and train with Floris for an hour on Wednesday evening. The training sessions in the gym were tailored to my football, so that it wouldn't stop my performance on the field.
Because I didn't drink alcohol and therefore ate less badly at the weekend, it really went like a joke. I was super motivated and went all out for it. Every Monday morning, I sent a check in and it was fun to send every time, because I had made incredible progress again.
Jelmer's enthusiasm after another check in was very contagious. During the training sessions, I felt myself getting stronger, the number of kg's increased and steps were taken very quickly.
My own motivation and discipline, filling in the food app with what I eat in a day, eating at fixed times and, above all, preparing the meals, has meant that I went really fast in a short time. So the strength training sessions weren't even the most important thing, those were the football training sessions and matches, and yet I see a clear improvement in my body.
The result: 84.9 kg. Which means I've lost 5.5 kg again.
I never expected to be able to make so much progress in such a short time. Just more motivation for me to keep going like this and create an even better version of myself.
